I think you did an awesome job with atmosphere! To be honest I didnt find a proper way to spend money - I even never lose...(maybe you should sell additional songs, which will perfectly fits the gameplay rhythm?) This game is more looks like interactive music player then a game.
Also it seems that its easier to make perfect combo with left-right swipes then up-down.
